Eva Wu is a second-year undergraduate student studying Applied Mathematics: Data Science at the University of Washington. She works with the Mountain Hydrology Research Group, where she uses Python, R, and MATLAB to clean and combine weather and streamflow datasets and build visualizations that connect storms, snowpack, and river response in mountain basins. Eva is especially interested in the intersection of data science, climate resilience, and public policy, and she hopes to build models that help communities adapt to a changing environment. Outside of academics, she enjoys road-tripping, playing cello, and creating small coding projects that blend generative art with environmental and social data.
